Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Chiefs are expected to sign WR Tajae Sharpe to their practice squad after he clears the COVID-19 protocol.
Sharpe, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Titans back in 2016. He just finished the final year of his four-year, $2.61 million rookie contract and made a base salary of $720,000 this past season.
Sharpe was testing the market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career when he agreed to a one-year contract with the Vikings this past March. He was waived by Minnesota earlier in the week.
In 2020, Sharpe has appeared in four games for the Vikings and been targeted just three times without a reception.
We had him included in our Top 50 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
