The Kansas City Chiefs officially placed FB Anthony Sherman on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday, according to Field Yates.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Sherman, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2011. He spent two years in Arizona before catching on with the Chiefs for the 2015 season.
Sherman played out the final year of his three-year, $7,000,000 contract with the Chiefs before returning to Kansas City on one-year contracts each of the past three years.
In 2020, Sherman has appeared in four games for the Chiefs and rushed for two yards on two carries and caught one pass for five yards receiving and a touchdown.
