The Chiefs announced they have placed RB Darrel Williams on injured reserve and promoted DB Alex Brown from the practice squad to the active roster.
Kansas City also re-signed WR Gehrig Dieter to the practice squad.

Williams, 24, signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of LSU in 2018. He’s in the second year of his deal and slated to make a base salary of $660,000 in 2020.
In 2019, Williams has appeared in 12 games for the Chiefs and rushed 41 times for 141 yards and three touchdowns, while adding 15 catches for 167 yards and a touchdown.
