The Kansas City Chiefs officially re-signed DT Joey Ivie to their practice squad on Wednesday.
Hereโs the Chiefs updated practice squad:
- WR Joe Fortson
- TE Nick Keizer
- RB Marcus Marshall
- QB Kyle Shurmur
- WR Cody Thompson
- DB Alex Brown
- LB Emmanuel Smith
- DE Cameron Malveaux
- DB Torry McTyer
- DT Joey Ivie
Ivie, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2017. He was waived at the start of the regular season and later signed to the Falcons’ practice squad.
Atlanta brought Ivie back on a futures contract last year before waiving him with an injury settlement in June. After a brief stint with the Seahawks, he joined the Chiefs and returned to Kansas City on a futures contract this past January.
Unfortunately, the Chiefs waived Ivie earlier in the week.
In 2019, Ivie has appeared in two games for the Chiefs and recorded one tackle.
