Thomas, 26, was taken in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Chiefs. The Chiefs re-signed Thomas to a one-year contract last year.
Thomas’ 2018 season with the Chiefs ended in October after he was placed on injured reserve with a fractured leg. He was allowed to leave as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2018, Thomas appeared in five games for the Chiefs, catching three passes for 29 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed once for six yards and totaled 106 combined kick and punt return yards.
