Pardon My Take reported on Monday that the Chiefs are re-signing FB Anthony Sherman.

Sherman, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2011. He spent two years in Arizona before catching on with the Chiefs for the 2015 season.
Sherman played out the final year of his three-year, $7,000,000 contract with the Chiefs and was set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2017, Sherman appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and rushed for 40 yards on 14 carries (2.9 YPC) to go along with six receptions for 47 yards receiving and one total touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 5 fullback out of 18 qualifying players.
