Update:
Chiefs HC Andy Reid confirmed thatย S Eric Berryย will practice for the first time this year on Wednesday.
“We’ll see how he does and we’ll ease him back into it,”ย Reid said of Berry.
According to Reid, there’s no pressure on Berry and it all depends on how he feels. Reid added that he has “no idea” if Berry plays on Sunday:ย “I think he’s as curious as we are to see how he feels.”
“It’s great. It’s good to see him getting back healthy,” Reid said, per Brooke Pryor. “One thing about EB, this is killing him to watch. He loves to play. It tears him up not be out there. At the same time, we have to do what’s smart. That when those juices get going that everything’s OK in the long haul.
“I don’t worry about him in any of this. He’s been around this a long time. He’s come back from a life-threatening disease. And he’s honest. There’s no, one thing that’s taken place throughout this whole thing is great communication and honesty.”
Terez A. Paylor reports that Chiefs S Eric Berryย plans be at the teamโs facility on Tuesday with the intention of practicing this week.
According to Perez, it remains to be seen whether Berry will be able to play in Sunday’s game against the Raiders.

Berry, 29, is a former first-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2010. He worked his way back fromย Hodgkin’s lymphoma and managed to produce an impressive 2015 season.

Berry stands to make base salaries ofย $12.4 million and $9.4 million over the next two years.
In 2017, Berry appeared in one game and recorded seven tackles for the Chiefs.
