Chiefs Sign DT Joey Ivie To PS, Release DT Dee Liner

The Kansas City Chiefs announced that they’ve signed DT Joey Ivie to their practice squad and released DT Dee Liner from the unit.

The Chiefs’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Josh Crockett
  2. WR Gehrig Dieter
  3. OT Ryan Hunter
  4. QB Chase Litton
  5. LB Rob McCray
  6. S Leon McQuay
  7. DB Arrion Springs
  8. DB D’Montre Wade
  9. C Jimmy Murray
  10. DT Joey Ivie

Ivie, 23, is a former seventh-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2017. He was waived at the start of the regular season and later signed to the Falcons’ practice squad.

Atlanta brought Ivie back on a futures contract this past January but elected to cut him loose in June with an injury settlement. The Seahawks signed him to a contract last month but was among their final cuts.

During his four-year college career at Florida, Ivie recorded 69 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, and a pass defense over the course of 26 games.
