According to ESPN’s Adam Caplan, the Chiefs have signed former Bengalsย G Otis Hudson to a contract on Thursday.
Hudson, 27, is a former fifth-round selection of the Bengals back in 2010, but has spent most of his career on the team’s practice squad.
Cincinnati cut him loose before the start of the 2013 season and this is his first opportunity since.
There is no question that the Chiefs need to find some depth at guard now that they have lost both of their starting guards and LT Branden Albert in free agency. However, it’s hard to say that Hudson will be able to play a meaningful role for them.
