The Kansas City Chiefs officially signed G Abdul Beecham, RB Josh Caldwell, and LB D’Juan Hines to contracts on Friday.
Hines, 24, signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Houston back in May of last year. He was among the team’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed to their practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed.
From there, the Browns signed him off of the Chargers’ practice squad.
In 2018, Hines appeared in 13 games for the Browns and recorded two tackles.
During his four-year college career, Hines recorded 171 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, one interception, three pass defenses, and three forced fumbles.
