The Kansas City Chiefs have placed LB Cameron Gordon on waivers Tuesday, according to his agent Brett Tessler.
Gordon, 25, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan back in May of 2014. Unfortunately, Gordon was among the Patriots’ final roster cuts at the start of last year and wound up sitting out the entire 2015 season.
The Chiefs elected to sign him to a future/reserve contract a few months ago, but it appears as though they prefer their other options at linebacker.
Gordon has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his four-year college career, Gordon recorded 138 tackles, 15 tackles for a loss, five sacks, three interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery and 10 pass defenses.
