The Kansas City Chiefs officially waived RB Darrin Reaves with an injury settlement on Monday.
Reaves, 24, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of UAB back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in Carolina before he was waived and later signed by the Chiefs during the 2015 preseason.
Reaves has been on and off of the Chiefs’ practice squad the past two seasons but returned to Kansas City on a future/reserve contract this past January.
In 2014, Reaves appeared in six games and rushed 77 yards on 32 carries (2.4 YPC) to go along with five receptions for 31 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
