According to Howard Balzer, the Chiefs worked out three defensive backs on Tuesday, including CB Alex Carter, CB Josh Thornton, and S Aaron Williams.
Williams previously visited with the Jaguars and worked for the Texans during the offseason, but didn’t receive offers from either team.
Ian Rapoport previously reported that Williams is healthy and ready to play after some concerns about his NFL future, due to a serious neck injury he sustained.
Williams, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Bills back in 2011. He was entering the fourth year of his five-year, $26,077,844 million contract and set to make a base salary of $3.6 million for the 2017 season when the Bills released him in a move that freed up $1,775,000 of available cap space back in March.
In 2016, Williams appeared in seven games and recorded 20 tackles, a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown and five pass defenses.
