According to Aaron Wilson, the Kansas City Chiefs worked out a group of players on Friday including OLย Stephen Evans, Pย Taylor Symmank andย WR Brandon Shippen.
Shippen, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in May of last year. Unfortunately, the Dolphins elected to cut him loose during the final week of the preseason.
The Rams signed Shippen to their practice squad toward the end of last season and brought him back on a future/reserve contract this past January. However, he was once again waived at the start of the regular season.
During his college career, Shippen caught 32 passes for 453 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 28 games. He also contributed 48 yards rushing on eight carries.
