Colts Hosting Veteran OL Matt Slauson For Visit Tuesday

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that free agent OL Matt Slauson will visit with the Colts on Tuesday.

Last week, Slauson met with the Lions but did not sign a contract with the team during his visit to Detroit.

Slauson, 32, is a former sixth-round pick of the Jets back in 2009. He spent four years in New York before signing on with the Bears in 2013.

The Chargers elected to sign Slauson to a two-year, $3 million contract in 2016 and he’s now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017, Slauson appeared in seven games for the Chargers and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 53 guard out of 78 qualifying players at the time he was placed on injured reserve.
