The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they’ve placed OT J’Marcus Webb on injured reserve and promoted CB Lenzy Pipkins to their active roster.
- Indianapolis also signed CB Tarvarus McFadden to their practice squad.
The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:
- TE Mo Alie-Cox
- WR Steve Ishmael
- WR Reece Fountain
- QB Phillip Walker
- DE Carroll Phillips
- LB Ahmad Thomas
- DE Jihad Ward
- RB Jeremy McNichols
- G Sean Harlow
- CB Tarvarus McFadden
Webb, 30, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bears back in 2010. He spent three years in Chicago before he was waived and later claimed off of waivers by the Vikings at the start of the 2013 season.
Webb has had brief stints with the Chiefs, Vikings and Raiders before catching on with the Seahawks in 2016. The Colts signed him to a contract back in July.
In 2017, Webb appeared in one game for the Colts.
Pipkins, 24, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in 2017. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and is currently in the second year of his three-year, $1.66 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $555,000 and $645,000 over the final two years of the agreement.
The Packers traded Pipkins to the Colts for LB Antonio Morrison during the preseson but elected to cut him loose as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players. Indianapolis re-signed Pipkins to their practice squad soon after.
In 2017, Pipkins appeared in 12 games for the Packers and recorded 15 tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
