The Indianapolis Colts announced Wednesday that they’ve placed RB Marlon Mack on injured reserve and promoted WR Daurice Fountain to their active roster.
The Colts also signed RB Darius Jackson to their practice squad.
Hereโs the Colts updated practice squad:
- DB Andre Chachere
- DT Kameron Cline
- G Jake Eldrenkamp
- TE Farrod Green
- DE Gerri Green
- WR DeMichael Harris
- C Joey Hunt
- QB Chad Kelly
- T Carter O’Donnell
- DB Tremon Smith
- DT Chris Williams
- DT Robert Windsor
- RB Darius Anderson
- TE Charlie Taumoepeau
- S Ibraheim Campbell
- RB Darius Jackson
Mack, unfortunately, suffered a season-ending Achilles tear during Week 1’s game, so this move was expected.
Mack, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Colts back in 2017. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $2.81 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $735,000 over the final year of the agreement.
Mack will be an unrestricted free agent in 2021.
In 2019, Mack appeared in 14 games for the Colts and rushed for 1,091 yards on 247 carries (4.4 YPC) and eight rushing touchdowns to go along with 14 receptions for 82 yards receiving.
