The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve re-signed CB Shaun Prater to a contract on Monday.
- Indianapolis also signed CB Tay Glover-Wright to their practice squad and released TE Sean McGrath from the unit.
The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:
- CB Tay Glover-Wright
- QB Alex Tanney
- LB Amarlo Herrera
- OLB Daniel Adongo
- WR Quan Bray
- WR Duron Carter
- T Ulrick John
- S Dewey McDonald (Exception)
- TE Erik Swoope
Prater, 25, was a fifth-round pick by the Bengals in 2012, but landed on the injured-reserve with a knee injury and was waived the following offseason. He later caught on with the Eagles before joining the Vikings for the past two seasons.
The Colts just signed him to a contract last week, but he was released a few days ago to make room for QB Josh Johnson.
In 2014, he appeared in 10 games and accumulated two tackles on special teams.
