The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve re-signed S Isaiah Johnson on Friday and waived CB D.J. Killings.
Johnson, 27, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech back in 2015. He lasted just over a year in Detroit before he was waived at the start of the 2016 season.
The Rams later signed Johnson to their practice squad and he was on and off of their active roster over the next few years. The Colts signed Johnson to a futures contract this past January only to cut him loose shortly after this year’s draft.
For his career, Johnson has appeared in 12 games and recorded five tackles and no interceptions.
