The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that they’ve released punter Jeff Locke.
Locke, 27, if a former fifth-round pick by the Vikings in the 2013 NFL Draft. He finished his four-year rookie contract with Minnesota and reportedly had several teams interested in him this offseason.
The Colts signed Lock to aย two-year,ย $3.45 million deal with $1.25 million in guaranteed this past March.
In 2016, Locke appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings and recorded 74 punts for 2,946 yards and three touchbacks.
