The Colts announced Tuesday they signed RB James Williams to the 90-man roster, waiving DE Dadi Nicolas in a corresponding move.

Nicolas, 26, was taken in the sixth-round of the 2016 NFL draft by the Chiefs. The Chiefs actually agreed to trade him to the Browns in 2018, but the deal was later voided due to physicals.
Kansas City elected to waive Nicolas soon after and he spent time with the Seahawks and Redskins. The Colts signed Nicolas as a free agent this May and he has bounced on and off the roster since.
In 2016, Nicolas appeared in 10 games for the Chiefs and recorded one pass defense and no tackles.
