Per Tom Pelissero, Ware’s deal is for one year and $1.305 million, with a potential value of $2.05 million including incentives.
Ware, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2013. He spent over a year in Seattle before signing on with the Chiefs at the end of the 2014 season.
The Chiefs signed Ware to a three-year, $4.2 million contract that included $1.6 million guaranteed in 2016. The team allowed Ware to hit free agency after his contract expired following this past season.
In 2018, Ware appeared in 13 games for the Chiefs, rushing 51 times for 246 yards (4.8 YPC) and two touchdowns. Ware also caught 20 passes for 224 yards receiving.
Johnson, 26, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech back in 2015. He was waived coming out of the preseason before signing on to the Lions’ practice squad.
The Rams later signed him to their taxi squad at the start of the 2016 season after Detroit once again cut him loose. He was on and off of the Rams’ active roster last year.
In 2018, Johnson appeared in two games and recorded one tackle and no interceptions.
Williams, 26, wound up signing on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2015. He spent over two years in Cincinnati before signing futures contract with the Broncos in 2018.
Unfortunately, Denver waived Williams coming out of the preseason. He bounced on and off the Dolphins practice squad before landing on the Colts’ practice squad near the end of 2018.
In 2016, Williams appeared in four games for the Bengals and recorded two tackles and a half sack.
Wright, 26, was a seventh-round selection of the Bengals back in 2014. Wright wound up making the team’s 53-man roster during his rookie season, but was later waived with an injury designation in July of 2015. After clearing waivers, Wright reverted to the team’s injured reserve list where he remained for the entire season.
The Browns claimed Wright after he was waived by the Bengals in 2017. The Browns later waived him with an injury designation in and he reverted to injured reserve before being waived with a settlement at the end of August, 2017.
The Colts signed him to a futures deal in January, 2018.
In 2016, Wright appeared in 13 games and caught 13 passes for 106 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
