The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that they’ve officially signed second-round pick WR Michael Pittman Jr. to a rookie contract.

Pittman, 22, was a three-year starter at USC and earned first-team All-Pac 12 honors last season. The Colts traded up with the Redskins to select him with No. 34 overall pick in this year’s draft.
Pittman is projected to sign a four-year, $8,612,849 rookie contract that includes a $3,823,890 signing bonus.
During his four-year career at USC, Pittman recorded 171 receptions for 2,519 yards receiving (14.7 YPC) and 19 touchdowns. He also had six punt return attempts for 156 yards (26 YPC) and one touchdown to go along with five kick returns for 31 yards (6.2 YPC) and no touchdowns.
