Colts Sign Veteran TE Chase Coffman

The Indianapolis Colts announced that they’ve signed TE Chase Coffman to a contract on Tuesday.

This comes after the news that TE Dwyane Allen is expected to miss some time with an ankle injury.

Coffman, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Bengals. He lasted a little over three years in Cincinnati before he later caught on with Falcons in 2012.

Coffman spent two years with the Falcons before he signing on with the Titans as an unrestricted free agent.ย The Titans wereย flipping Coffman on and off of their active roster before waiving him in October of last year.

The Seahawks signed him to a contractย towards the end of the season and later caught on with the Coltsย this summer. Unfortunately, the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2015, Coffman has appeared twoย games and caught eightย passes for 71ย yards receiving and aย touchdown for the Titans and Seahawks.
