The Indianapolis Colts officially signed WR Fred Brown to their practice squad on Friday and placed WR Devin Lucien on the practice squad injured list.
The Colts’ practice squad now consists of:
- QB Phillip Walker
- ILB Darnell Sankey
- TE Henry Krieger-Coble
- WR Krishawn Hogan
- NT Joey Mbu
- OT Andrew Wylie
- OT Tyreek Burwell (Exception)
- RB Matt Jones (Exception)
- LB Johnathan Calvin
- WR Devin Lucien (Injured)
- WR Fred Brown
Brown, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
Brown was released from the practice squad a few days ago.
During his college career at Mississippi State, Brown caught 50 passes for 785 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of three seasons and 23 games.
