The Indianapolisย Colts officially waived G Blake Muir from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Tuesday.
Muir, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Baylor back in May of last year before signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the 49ers. He was waived as the 49ers trimmed their roster down to 53 players butย signed on to Packers’ ย practice squad at the start of the season.
Unfortunately, Muir lasted just over a month in Green Bay before he was once again cut loose. The Falcons signed him to their practice squad in November and he returned to the team on a future/reserve contract a few months ago.
However, the Falcons elected to cut him loose in the days leading up to this year’s draft. The Colts signed him to a contract soon after he was waived with an injury designation a few weeks ago and later reverted to injured reserve.
Muir has yet to appear in an NFL game.
