Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Colts have waived G Chad Anderson on Friday.
The Colts signed Anderson to a contract three weeks ago, and could use depth at guard, but it appears they prefer their other options.
Anderson participated in the NFL Regional Combine a few months ago and most recently played for the LA Kiss of the Arena Football League.
He appeared in 35 games during his collegiate career at Northern Michigan. Anderson spent time at right tackle and made 32 consecutive starts to finish out his career.
