The Indianapolis Colts promoted OT Pierce Burton to their active roster and waived OT John Wetzel from their practice squad.
Wetzel, 24, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Oakland before catching on with the Cowboys mid-season.
Dallas elected to bring Wetzel back on a future/reserve contract in January, but he was released from their practice squad close to a month ago.
The Colts later added him to their practice squad.
Wetzel has yet to appear in an NFL game.
