Ian Rapoport reports that the Indianapolis Colts have waived WR Marcus Johnson from injured reserve with a settlement on Monday.
Rapoport mentions that Johnson has been cleared after dealing with a concussion and is expected to generate interest from teams in the coming days.
Johnson, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in 2016. He was on and off of the Eagles’ practice squad before being traded to the Seahawks last year as part of the Michael Bennett deal.
The Seahawks would later trade Johnson to the Colts at the start of last season for Darrell Daniels. He returned to the Colts on an exclusive rights contract only to be waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason.
During his college career at Texas, Johnson caught 61 passes for 793 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
