The Indianapolis Colts have waived OLB Deiontrez Mount with an injury designation and signed G Terran Vaughn to a contract on Friday.
Should Mount pass through waivers unclaimed, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list on Saturday.
Mount, 24, is a former sixth-round pick by the Titans of the 2015 NFL draft. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.428 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $525,000 when the Titans cut him loose coming out of the preseason last year.
The Colts signed Mount to their practice squad a few weeks into the regular season and was later promoted to their active roster.
In 2016, Mount appeared in one game but did not record a statistic.
