ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported on The NFL Insiders Monday that Colts WR Darrius Heyward-Bey is “definitely gonna miss a lot of time” with a sprained MCL.
Heyward-Bey, 26, suffered a sprained left knee during Sunday’s practice. There have been reports of Heyward-Bey struggling with drops during training camp, so it appears as though T.Y. Hilton will have an major opportunity to secure the No. 2 receiver job in the coming weeks.
