The Indianapolis Colts announced Tuesday that they’ve claimed G Jake Eldrenkamp off of waivers from the Patriots and placed OT De’Ondre Wesley on waivers.
Eldrenkamp, 25, originally signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Washington back in 2017. He was on and off of their practice squad before returning to Los Angeles on a futures contract this past January.
Unfortunately, the Rams cut Eldrenkamp loose coming out of the preseason and had a brief stint on the Browns’ taxi squad. The Patriots signed Eldrenkamp to a futures deal back in January only to cut him loose on Modnay.
Eldrenkamp has yet to appear in an NFL game.
