The Cowboys announced they have activated CB Chidobe Awuzie as he returns from injured reserve, per Jon Machota.

Dallas is on bye this week but Awuzie is set to return to the lineup just as the team loses a starting corner in second-round rookie Trevon Diggs.
Awuzie, 25, is a former second-round pick by the Cowboys in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Colorado. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $4.3 million rookie contract.
So far this season, Awuzie has appeared in two games and recorded three total tackles, one interception, and two pass defenses.
