Cowboys HC Jason Garrett announced Monday that CB Anthony Brown will undergo season-ending triceps surgery and be placed on injured reserve in the coming days, per Michael Gehlken.
Brown, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2016. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.47 million contract and set to make a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.
Brown will be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
In 2019, Brown appeared in nine games for the Cowboys and recorded 17 tackles, no interceptions and five pass defenses.
