Cowboys Sign OT Cameron Fleming To One-Year, $3.5M Deal

Field Yates reports that the Cowboys are expected to sign Patriots offensive tackle Cameron Fleming to a contract on Saturday.

  • According to Ian Rapoport, the Cowboys have signed Fleming to a one-year contract worth a maximum value of $3.5 million.

The Cowboys hosted Fleming for a visit last week along with LaAdrian Waddle and reports have said they could move La’El Collins back to guard for the 2018 season, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.

Fleming, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Patriots back in 2014. Fleming was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Patriots’ practice squad before being called up a month later.

The Patriots brought Fleming back on a one-year, $1.797 million deal for the 2017 season and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.

In 2017, Fleming appeared in 12 games for the Patriots and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 24 offensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.
