Cowboys Re-Sign RB Darius Jackson To PS, Release RB Bo Scarbrough

The Dallas Cowboys officially re-signed RB Darius Jackson to their practice squad released rookie RB Bo Scarbrough from the unit on Tuesday.

Here’s the Cowboys updated practice squad:

  5. LB Kyle Queiro

  8. DB Tyree Robinson

  10. RB Darius Jackson

Jackson, 24, was selected in the sixth round of last year’s draft by the Cowboys. Dallas waived Jackson towards the end of the 2016 season and was later claimed off waivers by the Browns.

The Cowboys signed Jackson to a contract in May, but elected to cut him loose as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players last weekend. Jackson was signed off of the Cowboys’ practice squad by the Packers.

However, Green Bay cut him loose last week.

In 2018, Jackson has appeared in two games for the Packers, but has yet to receive a carry.

During his college career at Eastern Michigan, Jackson ran for 1,596 yards on 321 carries (5 YPC) to go along with 44 receptions for 375 yards receiving and 21 touchdowns.

Scarbrough, 21, was selected in the seventh round of this year’s draft by the Cowboys. The Cowboys elected to cut him loose last weekend as their trimmed their roster down to 53 players.

The Cowboys later re-signed Scarbrough to their practice squad.

During his three-year college career at Alabama, Scarbrough rushed for 1,512 yards on 267 carries (5.7 YPC) to go along with 21 receptions for 131 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns over the course of 31 games.
