Cowboys Hosting Patriots OTs LaAdrian Waddle & Cameron Fleming

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cowboys are bringing both Patriots offensive tackles LaAdrian Waddle and Cameron Fleming for visits Monday night and will host them into Tuesday.

Rapoport previously reported that New England would like to re-sign Waddle and Fleming but both are drawing “considerable interest” right now.

The offensive tackle market was limited to begin with but Fleming and Waddle are now two of the best available options and should be able to come away with respectable contracts when all is said and done.

Waddle, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Texas Tech back in 2013. He spent over two years in Detroit before he was waived midseason and later claimed off of waivers by the Patriots.

Waddle played out in the final year of his three-year, $1.485 million rookie contract before signing a two-year contract with the Patriots back in 2016.

He’s currently testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017 Waddle appeared in 12 games for the Patriots and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the 64 offensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.

Fleming, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Patriots back in 2014. Fleming was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Patriots’ practice squad before being called up a month later.

The Patriots brought Fleming back on a one-year, $1.797 million deal for the 2017 season and he’s now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.

In 2017, Fleming appeared in 12 games for the Patriots and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 24 offensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
