Todd Archer of ESPN reports that the Cowboys have re-signed S Darian Thompson to a one-year contract worth $720,000 on Thursday.
The Cowboys declined to tender Thompson a restricted deal, but it appears as though they were still able to work out an agreement for him to return to Dallas for the 2019 season.
Thompson, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2016. He spent just over two years in New York before the Giants waived him with an injury settlement last year.
Thompson later signed on to the Cardinals’ practice squad before the Cowboys added him to their active roster.
In 2018, Thompson appeared in 10 games for the Cowboys, but did not record a statistic.
