Clarence Hill reports that the Cowboys have re-signed WR Brice Butler to a one-year contract on Wednesday.
With free agent WR Terrance Williams expected to sign elsewhere, Butler should be in line for a much larger role next season.
Butler, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders back in 2013. He spent two years in Oakland before he was traded to the Cowboys for the 2015 season.
In 2016, Butler appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and caught 16 passes for 219 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
