According to Ian Rapoport, Cowboys second-round CB Trevon Diggs suffered a fractured bone in his foot and will be out 4-6 weeks.
Based on that timeline, Rapoport says Diggs could miss the rest of the season.
Expect Dallas to place the rookie on injured reserve shortly.
Diggs, 22, was drafted in the second round out of Alabama by Dallas in 2020. He signed a four-year, $6.32 million rookie deal that included a $2.157 million signing bonus.
In 2020, Diggs appeared in nine games for the Cowboys and recorded 48 total tackles, one sack, a forced fumble, two interceptions and 10 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 53 cornerback out of 116 qualifying players.
