Cowboys Sign LB John Lotulelei To Futures Deal

The Dallas Cowboys have signed LB John Lotulelei to a future/reserve contract on Tuesday, per Jon Machota.

You can expect the Cowboys to make even more signings once their season is officially over.

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Lotulelei, 25, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of UNLV back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Seattle before he was waived and later claimed by the Jaguars.

After two years in Jacksonville, Lotulelei was cut loose during the 2015 season and later signed to the Raiders’ practice squad. Oakland elected to part ways with him at the start of the season.

In 2015, Lotulelei appeared in four games for the Raiders but did not register a statistic.
