ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Dallas Cowboys have signed QB Kyle Orton to backup Tony Romo next season. Orton gets a three-year deal which is pretty good.
Dallas has said that they wanted to sign a veteran quarterback to replace Jon Kitna who recently retired. Orton should be a good fit in the teams’ offense in case something were to happen to Romo in the future.
