The Dallas Cowboys have been working to get down to the 757-man roster limit before Tuesdayโs deadline. Here are the roster cuts up to this point:
- G Mike McQueen
- WR Richard Mullaney
- WR Rodney Smith
- C Dan Buchholz
Other moves include:
- DT Shaneil Jenkins, LB James Morris and DB Jeremiah McKinnon, DB Arjen Colquhoun, LB Henoc Muamba (Waived/Injured)
- QB Kellen Moore, CB Josh Thomas (Injured Reserve)
- TE James Hanna and LB Jaylon Smith (NFI List)
Moore, 27, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Boise State back in Detroit waived Moore at the start of last season, but he later signed on to the Cowboysโ practice squad.
In 2015, Moore appeared in three games for the Cowboys and completed 58.7 percent of his passes for 779 yards receiving to go along with four touchdowns and six interceptions.

Morris, 24, wound up signing on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in 2014. He was able to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season and returned to New England on an exclusive rights deal last year.
However, he was among their final roster cuts before later signing to the Giants practice squad. New York elected to cut Morris loose back in May, but he later signed on with the Cowboys earlier this month.
In 2015, Morris appeared in six games for the Giants and recorded two tackles.
