Mike Doocy of Fox News is reporting via Twitter that Cowboys WR Dez Bryant has been arrested and charged with domestic violence.
From Fox DFW:
On Saturday evening police responded to a family violence call in the 800 block of East Pleasant Run. Bryant was charged with a Class A misdemeanor for assaulting a female family member.
Police would not elaborate on the details of the case or Bryant’s relationship to the alleged victim. However, they did say she did not require any hospitalization for her injuries.
Bryant has had several off-the-field incidents, including financial troubles as recently as last season. It will be interesting to see if Commissioner Goodell comes down hard on Bryant in the upcoming weeks.
