The Dolphins claimed G Keaton Sutherland off waivers from the Bengals and placed LB James Crawford on injured reserve, per Armando Salguero.
Sutherland, 22, was signed by the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M following the 2019 NFL Draft. The Bengals waived him coming out of the preseason and later brought him back to their practice squad.
Cincinnati signed Sutherland to the active roster last week only to waive him again this week.
During his four-year college career, Sutherland started 32 of a possible 43 games and as a senior was named the team’s most improved offensive lineman.
Crawford, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Illinois back in 2018. He landed with the Packers in August during training camp and managed to make the 53-man roster. He was waived during final roster cuts this year, however, and claimed by Miami.
In 2018, Crawford played all 16 games for the Packers and recorded eight total tackles and one fumble recovery.
