ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets that the Miami Dolphins have claimed former Texans RB Steve Slaton off of waivers.
Last week Daniel Thomas took over as Miami’s featured running back and the addition of Slaton is likely to impact Reggie Bush‘s playing time even further.
The Dolphins have been looking for a third running back since the offseason was open for business and Larry Johnson wasn’t able to solidify the position. Slaton will get a shot at doing as much.
