The Miami Dolphins officially released DT Jamiyus Pittman from the practice squad injured list on Friday.
Here’s the Dolphins updated practice squad:
- QB Jake Rudock
- DT Durval Queiroz (International)
- C Nik Needham
- DE Dewayne Hendrix
- LB Terrill Hanks
- DB Montre Hartage
- TE Chris Myarick
- OT Chidi Okeke
- WR T.J. Rahming
- WR Andy Jones
Pittman, 24, signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida back in May. He was among Miami’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed on with their practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed.
Pittman returned to Miami on a futures contract this past January only to be waived coming out of the preseason and added to their taxi squad. Miami recently placed him on the injured list.
During his four-year college career, Pittman recorded 138 total tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, four pass defenses, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
