Dolphins Sign DT Gerald Willis To Practice Squad, Place DT Jamiyus Pittman On Injured List

The Miami Dolphins have re-signed DT Gerald Willis to their practice squad on Monday, according to Barry Jackson.

  • The Dolphins also placed DT Jamiyus Pittman on the practice squad injured list. 

Here’s the Dolphins updated practice squad:

  2. DT Durval Queiroz (International)
  3. C Nik Needham
  4. DE Dewayne Hendrix
  5. WR Isaiah Ford
  6. LB Terrill Hanks
  7. DB Montre Hartage
  8. TE Chris Myarick
  9. OT Chidi Okeke
  10. WR T.J. Rahming
  11. DT Gerald Willis

Willis, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Miami back in May. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Ravens. 

However, Baltimore waived Willis coming out of the preseason and he later signed on to the Dolphins’ practice squad. Miami cut him loose a few days later. 

During his college career at Florida and Miami, Willis recorded 33 tackles, six tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery and two pass defenses over the course of two seasons and 14 games.
