Dwayne Haskins’ Wife Faces Domestic Violence Charge For Assaulting Steelers QB

According to WPXI.com, Steelers QB Dwayne Haskins‘ wife was arrested and charged following a domestic dispute in Las Vegas earlier this month. 

Haskins told police, who arrived following a call at around 2:30 am on July 3, that Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins punched him in the face following an argument at their hotel. He suffered a cut lip and lost a tooth. 

She also told investigators there was an argument, and the two were in Las Vegas to celebrate their wedding and renew their vows after getting married back in March. 

Gondrezick-Haskins was charged with battery domestic violence following the incident. 

Haskins, 23, was selected by Washington with the No. 15 overall pick out of Ohio State after many believed he would end up being a top-10 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He was in the second year of his four-year, $14,416,600 rookie contract that included an $8,504,800 signing bonus when Washington waived him late in 2020. 

Haskins later caught on with the Steelers on a futures deal for the 2021 season. 

In 2020, Haskins appeared in six games for Washington and completed 62.9 percent of his passes for 1,285 yards, five touchdowns and five interceptions. He also rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.
