Eagles Designate S Will Parks To Return From IR, Waive Two

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Tuesday that they’ve designated S Will Parks to return from injured reserve and waived DB Grayland Arnold and DE Casey Toohill.

This opens a three-week window of time for the Eagles to activate him from injured reserve and add him to their 53-man roster.

Parks, 26, is a former sixth-round pick by the Broncos in the 2016 NFL Draft. He finished his four-year rookie contract before signing a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In 2019, Parks appeared in 14 games and recorded 32 tackles, one sack, one interception, one forced fumble, and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 77 overall cornerback out of 113 qualifying players.

Watkins, 22, was drafted by the Eagles in the sixth round out of Southern Mississippi. He signed a four-year deal projected to be worth $3,464,664 with a $169,664 signing bonus.

During his three-year college career, Watkins caught 159 passes for 2,404 yards and 17 touchdowns in 34 games.
